I’ve been collecting playing cards and custom decks for over 15 years. What began with a love of magic has turned into a slightly unhealthy fascination with beautifully designed decks, limited editions and anything that makes me think, “Ooh… I need that one!” I love practising card sleights, discovering new decks and getting my hands on the cards themselves — although I’m definitely a collector rather than a performer. Most of my collection stays safely sealed, but if I really love a deck, I’ll usually buy a second one to open, admire and actually play with. Stew’s Playing Cards is my little corner of the internet dedicated to the cards I love, the magic that inspired me, and the wonderfully addictive world of collecting — and another excuse to annoy my lovely wife!
